In grades 3-5, students will explore 3D design and printing as they create unique projects and solve real-world problems, bringing their ideas to life! We’ll explore ways that 3D printing can be used for Toy Design, Helping Animals, and Creating Prototypes. No prior experience necessary.
If you were in my Spring 2025 3D Printing group, these will be the same projects we did together. Make sure to sign up for our 3D Printing 2.0 class that will happen in Spring 2026. Registration will come out at the end of this semester.
Fees cover the cost of all materials, and students will take home the projects they create. Designs will be created on the computer, and I will 3D print them at my home office. To keep families connected with our work, weekly email communication will be sent. We also use the family-friendly app, Seesaw, to share pictures and videos to capture action shots.
